We work with strict procedures

Working Process

Breton Construction working process typically follows a six-stage lifecycle: initiation, design, pre-construction, procurement, construction, and post-construction. This structured approach ensures project feasibility, secures necessary permits, manages budgets, and coordinates labor, materials, and safety standards to deliver the final structure.

Step 01: Meet and Consultant

Breton Construction pre-construction meeting with consultants is a critical planning phase designed to align the owner, design team, and contractors on project scope, budget, and schedule before physical work begins. It establishes clear safety protocols, quality standards, and communication workflows, while identifying risks to prevent costly delays or rework.

Initial Needs Assessment: Consultants analyze project requirements, goals, and constraints to ensure feasibility.
Review of Documents: Thorough examination of plans, specifications, permits, and approved submittals.
Scope & Schedule Planning: Establishing a master schedule, identifying long-lead materials, and setting logistical plans for site access.
Budgeting & Cost Control: Developing detailed cost estimates and establishing procedures for managing change orders.
Risk Management: Identifying potential site challenges and developing contingency plans.

Step 02: Planning and Design

Breton Construction planning and design team provide integrated services that merge architectural design, engineering, and construction, acting as a single point of responsibility. Breton Construction offer’s comprehensive services from initial conceptualization to final construction, aiming to reduce project turnaround time and costs

Design-Build Approach: This method combines designers and contractors into a single team, fostering cooperation from inception to completion.
Early Planning & Feasibility: Firms like Premier Vision Contracting assist with land evaluation, regulatory compliance, and budget planning.
Specialized Services: Services often include site engineering, structural engineering, and detailed cost estimation, as provided by Breton Construction, Inc.

Step 03: Proceed Construction

At Breton Construction a Notice to Proceed (NTP) is a formal letter issued by a project owner, developer, or general contractor that signals a Breton Construction to officially begin work. It establishes the project’s start date, triggers the contractual time for performance, and confirms that necessary, pre-construction requirements—such as permits and insurance—are in place

Commencement Date: Defines exactly when the contractor can begin on-site work and when the schedule officially starts ticking.
Contractual Authorization: It serves as the "green light" that allows the contractor to start accumulating costs, ensuring the contractor is not working without authorization.
Preconditions Met: Issuance confirms that critical pre-construction steps, such as site inspections and insurance, have been verified.
Key Information: Often includes the project name, location, contract amount, start date, and substantial completion date.

Step 04: Project Handover

Breton Construction handover is the final phase where our contractors formally transfers a completed project to the owner, ensuring all contractual obligations are met, documentation is delivered, and the facility is ready for use. Key components include final inspections, a punch list for fixes, transfer of manuals, warranties, and training the owner on operations, ultimately reducing liability and ensuring client satisfaction

Documentation: Submission of operation/maintenance manuals, warranties, permits, and as-built drawings.
Inspections & Punch List: Final walkthrough to identify and fix remaining minor issues (defects).
Certifications: Obtaining the Certificate of Occupancy and other statutory documents.
Training & Access: Providing client training on new systems (HVAC, security) and transferring keys.
Final Handover Document: A formal acceptance letter signed by both parties to close out the project.
